The Guide is constantly updated when needed, but significant updates are applied approximately once per week.

------------------------------
Introduction
------------------------------

The market/auction house is the place in game to trade with other players and buy/sell to the NPC market. It can either be accessed by clicking on the market building, or using the hotkey 'M'. The bulk of the market features are locked for trial players, and can be unlocked if/when the full game is purchased.

The following guide will aim to get new and old players alike accustomed to the market basics, and offer some in depth explanation of trading techniques that players have gathered over many months of experience.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A Beginners Guide to the Market Interface
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When you first open up the market, you will see something similar to this.

Image

A - Browse: When you open the market, it will always be on the browse tab by default. From here, you can browse the many trades set up by various players.

B - Add Trade: From the Add Trade tab, you will be able to see all of your nations tradable cards. Here you can put trades on the market for others to make offers on or buyout.

C - My Trades: Here you can check trades you have set up from the Add Trade tab. You can cancel trades, and accept/decline offers amde by other players.

D - My Offers: This tab allows you to check which trades you have made an offer on, and also allows you to cancel them.

E - Buy: Here you are interacting with the npc market only. You can buy common cards here at 1,000 per cp, and buy resources with gold.

F - Sell: Similar to the Buy tab, you are again dealing with the npc market. The Sell tab allows you to sell cards and resources for gold. Please note that although this option is there, never sell cards and resources here (the exception being food, maybe). As an alternative, ask in trade channel and trade with other players for much better rates.

G - Basic Filters: The basic filters allow you to narrow down your search results based on faction, troops, spells, or resources.

H - Advanced Filters: The magnifying glass symbol represents the advanced search filters. From here, you can filter for trades involving any card in the game. By far the easiest way to get what you're looking for.

I - Refresh: The refresh button refreshes the page to show the latest trades.

J - Trade Items: This column represents the items players have put on the market for trade.

K - Buyout Items: This column represents the items players want for their Trade Items.

L - Seller's Faction: The factional symbols show you what faction the player is who put up the trade, hence gives an indication of what the trader might be looking for. (If there is no buyout/note)

M - Time Left: Self explanatory, this tells you how long a trade will be up on the market for before it expires.

N - Make Offer: After highlighting a trade, you can click the Make Offer option to make an offer for the Trade Items. This is useful if you are not prepared to pay the Buyout price the trader has set.

O - Buyout: When a trade is highlighted, you can click Buyout to pay the buyout specified by the seller. Note that only trades with a buyout specified can be bought out, and that you must have the buyout items available to trade. Once you click the buyout option there is no going back. The trade is complete.

------------------------------------------------------------
Market Survival Tips!
------------------------------------------------------------

It's a tough market out there, here are some essential tips to make sure you do not fall victim to scammers. :)

Never Sell to the Sell Tab

As mentioned previously, don't sell to the NPC market. Trading with players will give better returns.

Don't be Afraid to Ask

If you are unsure of a value, refer back to this guide, or ask in trade channel for opinions. Trade channel can be accessed by typing /2 or /t before your text.

Don't Trade by Private Messaging

If a player you don't know tells you to PM them, or PMs you, tell them you would rather negotiate your trade in the trade channel. Scammers and unfair traders will not be able to cheat you in a public chat.

Please keep in mind that this is just a precautionary measure. Not all players who want to PM are scammers! If you do negotiate a trade in whispers, use the value guide below as a guideline, or simply ask in trade channel for second opinions.

Don't Trade by Pigeon Roost

NEVER EVER trade with someone through the pigeon roost if you don't know them well enough to be certain they will hold up their end of the bargain.

Scammers will trick you into sending things through the pigeon roost to them, then disappear without a word. Unless trading with a trusted friend, use the market to carry out your transactions.

------------------------------------------------------------
Trading Techniques
------------------------------------------------------------

Use Multiple Nations

As all players are allowed 2 accounts, and each account can hold 5 nations, there is no reason to be bound by the trade limits. If you reach the maximum amount of market trades/offers on one nation, send some stuff over to a alternative nation to trade with. The biggest/best traders make full use of their 5 nations in order to maximise their profits.

Turn a Paperclip Into a House!

Trade up! Different players value different cards at different values. Some will let cards go at lower than market prices. Reasons could be that they really need a card you have (and don't want to wait for a better deal), they need resources fast, or they simply don't like the card.

This will allow you to catch traders selling cards at low end values, for you to resell at a high end value, thus making a profit.

Be Market Savvy, Savvy?

Play it smart. Keep up to date on various Saga news to try and predict what will happen to card prices. If a new range of building/structure cards are planned for release, it may be likely that anything with a siege bonus will rise in price. Buy them up whilst they are cheap, and they may spike up in price soon after.

If you are unsure what things will get buffed/nerfed, be the first to look at the patch notes when a patch arrives. It takes time before changes to balance are recognised by the wider community, acting fast after changes in a patch is an ideal way to catch out those who do not keep up to date with happenings.

Invest In Stable Units!

Many players buy up high end units as a value store for their gold. Don't do this! High value units can crash dramatically, thereby making you sell at a loss when the time comes to sell.

Tie up your gold in the lowest end, most stable units. These are already at rock bottom and are very unlikely to fall in value. Even if they fall, the difference would be tiny, as apoosed to a high end unit crashing.

Tips By Players...

Attack Rating says - "Be Patient. Many players sell their cards without first asking multiple buyers what they are willing to offer. Make sure you explore all avenues before committing to a trade in order to get the best deal possible"

Ferro says - "Commons actually have value - Commons are sometimes used as currency to circumvent the 25k market limit, however they are also an effective way to balance offers and trades that aren't quite even. Typically they maintain about 80% of their buy tab value, so if you see them for much less than that you may consider picking them up for future use."

"Diversify - Keep as many different cards in stock as you can, you never know when a large offer is going to go up for a single unit or spell. Keeping a spare booster on hand is also a good idea for the same reason."

"Be Efficient! - You can spend hours tracking down trades in /2 or whispers, or you can simply put them up and let the market do the work for you while you earn more money questing. Also don't be afraid of that little check-mark which prevents people from making offers instead of buyouts; that will force people to make the buyout, if they want it enough. Be sure of what you want, put up reasonable offers, and they'll go quicker than you can complete a TP run."

------------------------------------------------------------
Market Value Guide
------------------------------------------------------------

I have done my best, with the help of other experienced traders (Woodlanders and Mooseland), to bring you the most up to date and accurate trade values. However, it should be made clear that no market guide will ever be 100% accurate. Prices fluctuate all the time, and the same card is worth different amounts to different players.

All this guide can show you is our educated opinions on what something is worth - hence why values are all given in thousands without .5's. Anywhere around the values stated would be a fair trade, it is up to you to decide how far you want to fluctuate from the values given. What are they worth to you?

Unlike other guides, everyone's opinions will be taken into consideration and i will constantly be asking for second and third opinions on what something should be worth.

If you think a value is wrong, feel free to post here and let me know!

The Twilight story originally came to writer Stephenie Meyer in a dream. Bella, a human teenager, moves to the Pacific Northwest, and there, amid the rain, the ferns and the redwoods, she falls in with rival gangs of vampires and werewolves. Chaos (and romance), natural hairof course, ensues.

But Meyer, an aspiring writer and mother of three, could never have dreamed of the success she would experience thanks to her books. Fans havehuman hair wigs snatched up 100 million copies of the four novels (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn), which have been translated into 39 different languages.
That success helped Meyer earn $40 million this year, ranking her 59th on the Forbes Celebrity 100 list. Last year, thanks in part to her non-Twilight book The Host, Meyer ranked 16th with $50 million. Her newest book, a spinoff of the Twilight series titled The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner, should bump her up the list again next year, especially since the story’s released is timed to coincide with the third Twilight film, Eclipse, which hits theaters June 30.
And Eclipse should be a blockbuster; it's expected to make $75 million during its opening weekend alone, according to Exhibitor Relations. The series is alreadyremy hair one of the most profitable in recent movie history. The first two Twilight films cost a reported cumulative $90 million to produce and have earned $1.1 billion at the box office. That’s helped turn tiny Summit Entertainment into a growing film studio. Summit is also behind films like Oscar-winner The Hurt Locker, Knowing and Furry Vengeance.
